How do I know what to say when I tap?


One of the things that often stops my clients from tapping in between sessions is difficulty knowing which words to use. Sometimes there can be a feeling that the words I use in sessions have some kind of special magic. They don't. They are, for the most part, just your own words spoken back to you.

But still when we sit down to tap alone there can be this huge feeling of 'I don't know what to say!' In this video we explore some ideas to get you started with your own tapping at home. If you're working with me as a client you might also have some personalised audios to work from and they can also be a good starting point for words.



DISCLAIMER: When tapping on your own or with a friend it's best to stay away from any major trauma. Save this work for your one to one sessions where your practitioner can hold a gentle safe space for the deep work. Some better uses for the instructions in this video are: pain relief, day to day stress relief, managing in the moment anxiety, performance improvement in any area and anything else that doesn't feel scary to approach.
